Podcasts look really interesting. I hate the way I sound on the answering machine, so I doubt I would ever do one (famous last words!!!!), but i can certainly see how students could get very creative and productive with them.
Overview: Loved the class, but I wish we could use all this new knowledge on campus and on the district issued tablets. I tried to show my husband last night and half of what we learned was blocked. I have only professional reasons for using most of these Web 2.0 tools, but I would have to use my personal computer, on my time and still not be able to use some with my students. Great workshop! Thank you Annet, I learned a lot.

I agree. I hope the district is able to find a way to implement some or all of the Web 2.0 tools with all of our students.
I loved working across from you! Have a super summer!
I'm glad that you learned a lot. I hope that you will continue to try to use these tools in your library. I am so excited. Today I am able to add comments to the blogs. I am hopeful that we this will be permanent. If it is, we will be able to use blogs with teachers and hopefully, some day soon, with students.
